General safer use information

There is no drug use without risk.

No drug use is without risk! If you do decide to use drugs, please observe the following safer use rules (see also the information under each individual substance).

Approach drug use with a low-risk attitude: Inform yourself about the substance (drug) beforehand, consider your personal feelings (set), and where you intend to use it (setting). Keep in mind that the use, acquisition, possession, and trafficking of most drugs are illegal.

H2O instead of KO: Avoid alcohol and drink sufficient non-alcoholic and isotonic drinks (3-5 dl per hour).

Avoid mixing it with other substances.

If you are under medical treatment with medication, ask your doctor about known potential drug interactions.

Look at yourself, but also at others.

Small lines may be less sexy, but they are easier to control.

Take breaks from dancing at parties and go outside for some fresh air.

Inform your colleagues present about what and how much you are consuming.

It's best not to wear a head covering (risk of overheating!).

Accept it when the effect wears off; don't just take more.

Abstain from the consumption of psychoactive substances at least twice a year for a period of one month (Lent).

Don't forget the safer sex rules, even when you're high on drugs!

Keep your hands off the wheel under the influence of drugs and alcohol!

Plan enough time to rest and recover after the party. Make sure you eat a healthy diet rich in vitamins.
