Natural Substances

Substance
Kratom, Ephedrine, LSA, Salvia Divinorum
The effects of the listed substances vary considerably and depend on dosage, mindset, and setting for each substance. Kratom ranges from euphoric to narcotic or aphrodisiac effects, ephedrine and khat are both stimulating, and LSA and salvia are both hallucinogenic. The latter two substances, in particular, can cause strong hallucinations and even a loss of touch with reality, and are therefore especially affected by mindset and setting.

Safer Use
-
Kratom : Do not mix with stimulants, alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, or other "downers," and under no circumstances combine with MAOIs! Combinations can lead to circulatory problems and respiratory depression.
-
Ephedrine : Hydrate well, do not combine with alcohol. Do not consume if you have circulatory problems/diseases, high blood pressure, heart defects, thyroid disorders, or liver/kidney damage!
-
LSA : Pay attention to set and setting! Do not consume on an empty stomach. Do not consume LSA if you have liver disease, as it puts a strain on the liver. Peel the seeds, as the shell can cause nausea. [1]
-
Salvia : This is a very peculiar substance, and due to its rapid onset, the effects can be overwhelming. Furthermore, hallucinations can be experienced as real, which is why a trip sitter is essential! Salvia should only be consumed in a calm and familiar environment.
