Safer Sniffing

There is no drug use without risk.

Sharing sniffing equipment such as straws or banknotes can lead to the transmission of serious infectious diseases. Even minor injuries to the nasal mucosa caused by sharp-edged straws
are enough to, in extreme cases, transmit hepatitis viruses.

Therefore: Do not share tubes! Give your nasal mucosa sufficient rest, clean and care for it regularly.

  • Chop the powder as finely as possible – the larger the crystals, the more they will damage your nasal mucosa. Make sure the surface is clean.

  • Cleanse and care for your nasal mucosa after consumption. → Nasal rinse: Dissolve 1 spoonful of sea salt, Emser salt, or similar in 250 ml of warm water, tilt your head to the side and let it run through one nostril; the water will then run out of the other nostril. Afterwards, use a little ointment or nasal oil to combat dryness.
